WorkplaceDudes at Experts Live 2023 (May 25, 2023)
This was the first one. Jeroen Burgerhout asked me to be in it. A PodCast room, more like a little greenhouse, was at the Experts Live convention at Congress 1931 in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. First, they had a session with Dona Sarkar, Microsoft Accessibility, and then it was my turn. 🙂
Note: My part of the session was in Dutch
Ask Me Anything session with ScriptRunner (June 30, 2023)
You can see the ScripRunner banner on the right side of my website’s screen. ScriptRunner is a software solution that allows the delegation and automation of administrative tasks. I spoke with them at Experts Live 2022 and have kept in touch with Heiko since then because we are both PowerShell enthusiasts. They helped me sponsor my website when I stopped using Google Ads!
In the Ask Me Anything session, we discussed PowerShell, Automation, Cloud, Microsoft, and more. I had fun doing this very casual session!
The PowerShell Podcast (August 7, 2023)
One of my followers on Twitter, Justin Emmons, mentioned the guys from The PowerShell Podcast that I should be in one of their sessions 🙂 Andre Pla contacted me, and I joined their Podcast, which was posted this week 🙂 This was also an excellent casual talk with the guys from PDQ!
“We had a cool chat with Harm Veenstra, the guy behind powershellisfun.com. We got into some neat PowerShell stuff like Out-ConsoleGridView and the -PassThru parameter. Harm also gave us the lowdown on when to quit the cloud and spilled the beans on running his blog. Plus, he shared how he keeps up with the quick mojo of the tech world. Tune in for a fun and laid-back tech talk!”
S03:E04 | Gast Spreker Harm Veenstra – Powershell is Fun, Workplace Dudes Meetup en nog veel meer
In this (Dutch) PodCast from the WorkplaceDudes, we discuss my blog site and the upcoming WorkPlaceDudes meetup, and I demo things like Windows Sandbox and Graph X-Ray. It is always great fun with the WorkplaceDudes 🙂
The PowerShell Podcast (July 8, 2024)

“In this episode of the PowerShell Podcast, we sit down with Microsoft MVP Harm Veenstra to discuss his exciting experiences at PSConf.EU, where he attended for the first time and embarked on a new journey into public speaking. Harm shares his thoughts on receiving the prestigious Microsoft MVP award and delves into his recent projects, including creating a TCP/UDP listener for testing firewall ports and using a Pi-hole to block ads on his home network. We also explore his perspectives on automation in the MSP world, the power of Microsoft Graph, and why he hasn’t yet adopted AI tools. Tune in for an engaging conversation filled with insights, tips, and highlights from PSConf.EU!”
