This site just reached a new milestone: 250.000 visitors! It started on April 21st, 2021, and it’s been almost two years already now 🙂 In this blog post, I will link to other milestones and tell you how things are going for me now… (Spoileralert: Great 🙂 )
On July 25th, 2022, I reached the first milestone. 10.000 views. I didn’t expect that at all, then. I was writing blogs about PowerShell and enjoyed doing that. The engagement was already starting at that moment. I liked the response and help from other PowerShellers!
10.000 views and a bit of personal history
25.000 views
On September 19th, 2022, I reached the second milestone. 25.000 views, writing blogs became easier, and I was doing a lot of Tech Community stuff then, too, which gave me enough ideas to write blogs about.
25.000 views and how I got into IT
100 GitHub stars
I share all my scripts on GitHub, and on October 14th, 2022, I reached the 100 GitHub stars mark. And that has grown much after that! 🙂 I have 356 GitHub stars, 25 watching, and 77 forks of my repository.
101 Stars, 10 Watching and 10 Forks
50.000 views
On December 17th, the site reached 50.000 views! I had about 8K views each month and growing 🙂
100 posts and the PowerShellisfun logo
On June 18th, 2023, I posted my 100th post, and to celebrate that… I used Fiverr to create a logo for the website (I’m not that creative 😉 ) and have been using that ever since. The logo resembles the PowerShell logo and has a face.

My 100th post and… A PowerShellisfun logo!
On September 30th, 2023, the site reached 250.000 views. The number of views and responses was growing, around 22.000 each month.
Microsoft MVP
On March 1st, 2024, my biggest achievement was finally there: I became a Microsoft MVP for PowerShell! 🙂 I’m so happy with this! Unfortunately, I was too late to attend the MVP Summit this year in person (I couldn’t register myself anymore), and I’ve been following it virtually in the evening for the last two days and tonight. Now that I’m an MVP, I will be closer to all new developments and hope to contribute to that, too!
And then… I became a Microsoft MVP in the PowerShell area
250.000 visitors
And that milestone hit today (March 14th, 2024): 250.000 visitors with more than 380.000 views! This site is on many Google searches, on the first page, and sometimes even in the top 5 results. Thank you all for visiting my site. I hope to bring you a lot more blogs about anything PowerShell-related and with a bit of fun in it, too 🙂

Congratulations on hitting the 250,000 visitor mark. That is a lot of traffic, especially for such a niche website. I also found you through a Google search, and you’re correct, your content was on the front page. Good work.
Thank you! Is surely is and yes, I see post from myself when searching for things too 😛
