And another smile on my face, thank you all for visiting my website to read my PowerShell-related blogs! In this small blog post, I will look back on the things that happened since April 2025 (250K visitors ago 😉 )
Do numbers matter?
For me, being a stats-junkie, yes 😉 No, but seriously… It really helps keep me motivated to write more about all things PowerShell. I write every week, and yes… Sometimes I have writer’s block, don’t know what to write about, or don’t have enough time because of work or personal things (Yes, I have a life outside of PowerShell 😀 And that consists of spending time with my girlfriend, attending soccer matches, the cinema, meeting friends at parties, geeking out in my home network, etc.)
Changes since last year
I’m pretty consistent in the things I write about, but I’ve written a number of blog posts about PowerShell modules I’ve randomly discovered that really deserve more attention than they have gotten. (I use the PSGalleryExplorer for that with the -ByRandom Parameter)
And, as mentioned here, I’ve been sponsored by PDQ since last December, which keeps my WordPress and all the paid plans around it covered. Can’t thank them enough!
Plans
I’m going to focus a bit more on Intune and related Active Directory topics in the coming year. So many fun and useful things you can do on those platforms. That and Security/Network topics are becoming increasingly important, so expect more on that, too.
And also, more on the events I go to: I already wrote up PSConfEU, MVP Summit, and some other events, but I would like to show the community aspect of Meetup events, etc., more. (Expect a Workplace Ninja Summit Switzerland blog post in September!) You’re really missing out if you’re not attending your local events with like-minded people!
